Health Care Reform Misses Basic Cause

All the talk is about needing to reform our health care system. Please, the system is not broken but the US is certainly in a health crisis.

We are currently celebrating the 40th aniversery of Woodstock. There will be a few clips shown about that event. If you look close you will see perhaps the biggest reason for all our health issues. Everyone shown at Woodstock is thin. Yes, that is the big revolation, people in 1969 were thin. I graduated high school in 1969 and I also noticed on the beach this summer the overweight kids and remembered how in my youth most people were much thinner. How could this change in 40 years.

I believe it is our basic US diet. In 1969, there was little or no fast food joints. People had dinner and supper at the table with family and ate a meal cooked at home. Prossesed foods were available, but they had not yet touched every type of food source. Another problem that we face today and not back then is when we go out to eat today, we are served enough food for 2 people.

Omega 3 fatty acids were only discovered in the 1970's and the first scientific jont effert to evalute them was not until the late 1980's. In these last 40 years our diets changed and became an omega 6 based diet. Processing removed most of the omega 3 fats because they spoiled so fast. The remaining omega 6 products that permeated our diets are pro inflammitory as well as they tend to hold fat to the body. Much like the bear, in the summer they eat a green diet but change to a brown diet to put on weight for winter. We now basically eat that brown diet, and find it impossible to keep the weight off. The ratio of omega 6 to omega 3 is now 20 to 1 where it should be 2 to 1. Adding a high quality omega 3 supplement like Tripernol helps bring this ratio back to a more healthy level. Tripernol will help change this ratio and by doing so, reduce inflammation throughout the body.

American Heart Association loves omega 3

For your heart health the American Heart Association recommends you eat fish for your omega 3's. If you suffer from type 2 diabetes, are worried about corinary artery disease, have high triglycerides, an omega supplement may be needed.
